Teaching English online allows teachers to have….

  1. A flexible online teaching schedule
  2. Good pay
  3. The freedom to travel while you work

What is required to teach English online?

  • Most companies require teachers to have a bachelors degree, not necessarily in English or Education, but just a bachelor degree of some kind.
  • Native English Speaker (Citizens of Canada or United States are very sought after).
  • TEFL Certification. Sometimes this is not necessary for certain companies if you already hold a bachelors degree.
  • Enthusiasm!
  • **Some companies will require ONLY a TEFL certification, or ONLY a bachelors degree whereas as others will require BOTH. It entirely depends on the individual company!
