Another very popular way of teaching English as a second language is teaching online. As technology has progressed, more and more teachers and students are taking to online as a form of connecting and teaching.
Teaching English online allows teachers to have….
- A flexible online teaching schedule
- Good pay
- The freedom to travel while you work
What is required to teach English online?
- Most companies require teachers to have a bachelors degree, not necessarily in English or Education, but just a bachelor degree of some kind.
- Native English Speaker (Citizens of Canada or United States are very sought after).

- Enthusiasm!
- **Some companies will require ONLY a TEFL certification, or ONLY a bachelors degree whereas as others will require BOTH. It entirely depends on the individual company!
