To begin with I had a bit of a difficult time choosing a topic for my free inquiry. There are many different subjects that I am interested in and I have several hobbies, however I was struggling to choose just one thing. After reaching out to for some help, I was able to fully understand the project and decided to do my free inquiry on English as a second language, or more specifically, teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) in the Third Millennium. For the past few years, I have had a keen interest in the possibility of pursuing a career in teaching English as a second language in foreign countries. I was inspired by my aunt, who has taught all around the world and is now a professor at Douglas College in Vancouver, B.C. I thought this project/blog page would be the perfect opportunity to do some research for myself and perhaps other teacher candidates who may also find they have a similar passion!
